For the six-year secondary-to-pre-university pathways discussed here, Year 1 to Year 4 correspond to S1 to S4, and Year 5 to Year 6 to JC1 to JC2. School terminology and subject arrangements vary; the IB Diploma Programme is the later two-year stage, not the name of all six years.
