Students with a Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level certificate can apply for admission to junior colleges (JC), the Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) through the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE).
Each year, the cut-off points for JC admission are determined by the lowest scores of O-Level graduates in the JAE. This serves as a valuable reference for secondary students when choosing the most suitable JCs for their tertiary education.
